#Aligning Yourself With Your Intentions – Part 1

Congratulations! You made it through all of the challenges of 2013 and have begun a brand new year.  Before you get too busy, I hope that you will take a few moments to read and meditate on the thoughts in today’s post.  As a matter of fact, it is critically important that you take some time each day and strengthen your spirit and your mind through your own personal Bible study and prayer.

The fulfillment of your VISION requires a strong PERSONAL RESOLVE.  This type of determination supersedes one’s mental ascent to conform to this year’s “Resolutions”.  The type of RESOLVE that I am speaking of remains strong in the midst of pressure and tumultuous times.  It is relentless and knows no fear.  It is solution oriented.  It cannot be stopped and will never quit.  This type of RESOLVE is supernatural and is filled with faith and joy. It is a direct result of communing with our Omniscient and Omnipotent God.  It is the effect/outcome of the fresh REVELATION of God’s Word into your heart.

In today’s post, we are going to discuss God’s INTENTIONAL INVOLVEMENT in your life as it concerns the successful completion of your destiny!  This understanding will provide a rock of revelation that will  help you to more thoroughly align yourself with your intentions.  It will help you understand that you are not standing alone and will give you the faith to rise to higher heights and to build at deeper depths in 2014.  It will cause you to keenly focus on your purpose and to gain the momentum that is necessary for the hurdles you will leap over this year! Go ahead and take a moment to praise God for the amazing progress you will experience this year!  Thank Him now for the sure manifestation of His strength in your life and His involvement in bringing your destiny to pass.  You are a winner! This week we are discussing spiritual principles of alignment but next week we will discuss natural principles of alignment.

Psalm 138:8 says “The LORD will perfect that which concerns me: your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; forsake not the work of your own hands.

God is committed to the vision He put into your heart.  He is committed to your success.  He is already working on your behalf to extend favor, to perform miracles and to do whatever is necessary for His vision to be fulfilled in your life.  You don’t have to persuade God to help you, He is already on your side if you have chosen to obey the vision He put into your heart.

According to Strong’s Hebrew and Chaldee Dictionary, the Hebraic root word for “perfect” is gaw-mar which means “to end – in the sense of completing or failing”.  God is causing things that are coming against your vision to end!  It does not mean that weapons won’t form against you.  IT SIMPLY MEANS THE WEAPONS WON’T WORK!  Also,  according to Romans 8: God is also commanding all things concerning your vision, to work together for good.

In Psalms 138:7 David said, “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me, you will stretch forth your hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and your right hand shall save me.” In other words, in the time of trouble, you will restore me, pick me up, nourish me, preserve me alive and cause me to be made whole.  You will do this for me in front of my enemy.  You will speak life to me and repair my thoughts of fear and defeat!

Sometimes, I imagine a visual of weapons headed towards me and can actually see them by faith turning into stepping stones and blessings for my life before they reach me.  If you will settle in your heart that GOD IS COMMITTED TO YOUR VISION, it will remove your tendency to give up, become slothful, lazy and/or indifferent in your approach to getting things done.  After all,  God is the source of your strength, right?  A spirit of doubt and unbelief about yourself and your ability to succeed will cause you to become distracted.  If you do not arrest doubt and unbelief by meditating on the Word, it will eventually cause you to abort your vision.  There are many things that I would love to discuss with you concerning enemies to your vision.  Perhaps we will discuss this in more detail at another time.  For now, GUARD YOUR MIND; remember that you can do ALL things through Christ who continues to strengthen you.

When you understand the ways of God, you will know that He never makes a mistake.  When He calls you to do something, He has already equipped you with the special gifting and abilities needed to do the job.  In fact, how could He judge you for not performing His will if you were ill equipped to do so?

Align yourself with your intentions first by settling in your heart that your vision is from God. If your vision is  moral and legal and it is helping people,  I believe it is from God. Do not become discouraged because of doubters around you. In addition to seeking God, begin to make preparation for any specialized training or certification that you may need.  Respect and honor the vision God has given to you.  Next week we will discuss in more detail the natural things that you must do which are essential for your success.

Are you determined that 2014 will be a banner year?  I hope that you are ready to SHAKE, RATTLE and ROLL!  God will step with you as you step.  You can do what you have never done if you will go where you have never gone.  Take the limits off your thinking.  Think of new ways of doing things! Get creative in your approach to solving problems!  Solve big problems and solve them for more people.  Live life on purpose and align your life with your intentions daily!  You are going to love doing what you were created to do.  Have fun with it!  Until next week, Shalom!
